Reilalia Villanite

Reilalia Villanite is a Hybrid woman, daughter of Emperor Aries Villanite and Empress Enyxia Markov, and one of the least visible members of the Imperial family by her own deliberate choice. She loves her family and the people in it. She simply does not want to live their life.

She attends the Avinadal Military and Magic Academy under the name Rei Veilantil, living on-site and keeping her imperial identity private. The number of people who know her true identity is small and carefully maintained. To her classmates and most of the academy staff, she is a student.

Whether that arrangement holds as she progresses, or whether the weight of her parentage eventually finds its way into her story, remains to be seen.

Reilalia Villanite loves her family. This is not the complicated, contested love of someone working through damage — it reads as genuine, present, and unclouded. She is simply not interested in the life that comes with loving them publicly.

She enrolled in the Avinadal Military and Magic Academy as Rei Veilantil, lived on-site, and maintained the fiction with enough consistency that it holds. This is not the behavior of someone passive or directionless. It takes deliberate effort, sustained over time, to be unremarkable when your parents are the Emperor and the Mystic Empress. She has apparently found that effort worth making.

What she wants, as far as the record shows, is to be a person rather than a position. The academy, the alias, the ordinary student life — these suggest someone who values the experience of normalcy over the access that her real name would give her. This could be humility, or a desire for something that belongs only to her, or a recognition that she needs to build herself before the world starts building an image of her.

Her story is early. Whether the life she has chosen holds, or whether the identity she is building as Rei Veilantil eventually merges with or collides with the one she was born into, is still being written.
